The Awkward Return

Welcome back my followers ... er ... follower. Been away from the game for awhile and only in the last few weeks gotten myself to 85 and started the pain staking process of the heroic grind to gear up. On top of that the last 6 weeks have been basically filled with helping form, an upstart guild on Earthen Ring - US and only to have my computer completely fail on me. So here I am refreshed and ready to do those previously mentioned heroics.

Tanking. The title of this blog does leave some thinking that needs to be done on my part. Mostly I have been doing almost none of it. With my computer woes being the first issue and the second being I'm not very good at it. My guildies can attest to that. :( So with that said I believe I shall be practising my fury dps rotation in hopes of actually becoming good at this game.

So I hope to be able to post a little more often for myself. No followers. Just to get back into the swing of things and hopefully get this show on the road.

Hiatus DUH !

Obviously i will be taking an extended hiatus until the release of the expansion, cause i'm just not getting the play time i wanted in with the game. Not to mention no one i know plays anymore either so it could be the end of my MMO era. Horrible i know but they are not holding my interest like they used to. However Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Battlefield: Bad Company 2 are holding my interest more so ... bye bye WoW. It was fun.

Post Holiday News

Abit has happened since the holiday's had begun. We formed a guild from my previous on that I was apart of in the summer. Then I believe we had a hard time getting that going and ultimately decided to join the ranks of another guild on my ally server called Simplicity.
Overall an excellent guild in terms of personality and skill. I haven't had more then about 3 runs with a few of them but I can say i am very happy where I am in regards to progressing into bigger content.
It regards to my own feelings and decisions in WoW I guess I can say I've made a few steps back in my tanking and drifted back to the easier 5 man tanking experience I have with my DK. So i have found myself doing more with him even DPS.
I'm still gearing to get all my tier 9 to make it into ICC. I'd like to see myself as the go-to tank, but I'm very certain i still have some things to learn and to improve on.

This Blogs Purpose

Hello all,
Slippy here, starting my first blog about my adventures in World of Warcraft.

But first a little bit about myself. I'm a 26 (nearly 27) yr old tech agent from Nova Scotia, Canada. Been doing that job for about 7 years now cause I lack motivation to do anything else. More on that as I randomly complain about call centers in future posts. I do not have any literary degrees so bare with me on my spelling and grammer.

Okay back to the topic of WoW. I play on 2 servers at present. Earthen Ring (RP PvE) and Bloodhoof (PvE), basically Horde and Alliance. So i'm not bias just in between my focus at this time.

My often played toons on Earthen Ring include:

• Kintoro - lvl 77 Tauren Warrior
• Paryah - lvl 66 Orc Death Knight
• Hynata - lvl 40 Tauren Druid
• Padraige - lvl 21 BE Paladin

My only toons on Bloofhoof include:

• Kintoya - lvl 23 NE Druid
• Akumaru - lvl 66 Draenei Death Knight
• Kintosa - lvl 17 NE Hunter
• Kintina - lvl 16 Draenei Shaman

So as you can all and note by the title of this Blog I wanna tank and I enjoy melee classes. Tho I have absolutely no experience in tanking I am gonna try. Just need to get my toons to near end game and see if any guildies are willing to put up with repair bills til I understand my roles. Cause I also have not decided on which of the 4 tanking classes would be my primary focas.
So as a final thought "Come one come all" and please feel free to lay on some advice and pring up my visits haha.
